What is In-flight Shopping and how does it work?

With In-flight Shopping you can purchase items from our In-flight Shopping catalogue while sitting on your seat on board. You can take advantage of special offers and purchase exclusive special editions.

What is Pre-flight Shopping and how does it work?

The Pre-flight Shopping Service offers you the option of pre-ordering all items from the In-flight Shopping range before your flight and then actually purchasing them on board. Reservation is possible at the earliest eight weeks before your flight and at the latest two days beforehand. Due to the limited amount of space on board and the weight restrictions, you can select up to five items per flight. You only reserve the products: you are not obliged to purchase the items selected.

What are the advantages of Pre-flight Shopping?

Pre-flight Shopping ensures that you will receive the items you want. The products will be made ready for you. All you have to do is take them from the flight attendant during your flight and pay for them. As you would expect you can also redeem your award miles for this purpose. Your passport or boarding pass will serve as proof of identity.

Why do I have to give my flight number?

The flight number allows us to find your flight route with regard to your Pre-flight Shopping products.
The product range offered for Pre-flight Shopping varies, depending on the destination and date. Due to legal restrictions, some products are not available on every flight. By entering the flight number, these restrictions are taken into account when displaying the product range. This will ensure that all the products displayed will be available on your flight.

How can I pay?

You can pay for the items in cash or by credit card, redeem your award miles or combine both options by making a mixed payment. When redeeming Miles & More award miles, the minimum redemption amount is 3,000 miles. A maximum of 228,000 Miles & More award miles can be redeemed per reservation.

Why are some items not available on my flight?

Due to statutory requirements, we can unfortunately not offer our full product range on some flights (e.g. within the EU).

Do I have to buy the items during the flight?

Pre-flight Shopping is simply a way of pre-ordering your favourite products. If you should decide not to buy them during your flight, this is not a problem.

Do I have to be a Miles & More member to order?

No. You do not need to be a Miles & More member to pre-order the items you want via the Pre-flight Shopping Service. Your order can be placed without registration.

Will I get award miles credits on my purchases?

If you are a Miles & More member, you can, of course, use your purchases to collect award miles. As always, you will get a one-mile credit per euro spent.

How do I exchange items?

If you should not be satisfied with an item ordered via Pre-flight Shopping, you can hand it back undamaged, unused and in its original packaging to your flight attendant on the same flight, without concluding a purchase, or return it to us within a period of four weeks after your purchase, accompanied by your sales invoice. Perfumes, cosmetics, tobacco, spirits and sweets can unfortunately not be returned. This will not affect your legal rights regarding defects.
